A*Med Hospice

A-MED Community Hospice provides a comprehensive palliative program dedicated to promoting comfort and quality of life for clients and families facing a terminal illness. It provides services through a staff of certified nurses and nurse aides, medical social workers, therapists and registered dieticians. A-MED Community Hospice offers occupational, physical, speech and aquatic therapies. It additionally provides medical equipment and supplies, including scooters, lift recliners, portable ramps, oxygen therapy equipment, sleep apnea monitors, and power-operated and manual wheelchairs. A-MED Community Hospice also offers pain management, counseling and bereavement support services. It is a part of A-MED Home Health, which maintains several locations in Texas, including Houston.
