Apostolic Christian Home

Based in Sabetha, Kan., Apostolic Christian Home is a Christian, nonprofit community serving the health care needs of the retired, aged and disabled. It is a Medicare- and Medicaid-certified 90-plus bed facility. Its amenities include lounge area complete with a fireplace, rooms with central heat and air control and emergency call systems, carpeted living and bedrooms with cable television connection, walk-in bedroom and coat closets, fully equipped kitchen, storage space, private patios and balconies and covered garages. It also provides a fully equipped library with assorted reading and study materials; an activity room for a variety of crafts, hobbies and religious studies; and a beauty salon and barbershop. The retirement center overlooks landscaped lawns, and has a gazebo, sidewalks for outdoor walks and a pond with ducks, geese, and a variety of fish.
