Area Agency on Aging Region 9

Founded in 1975, Area Agency on Aging Region 9 is a nonprofit organization in the United States. The agency has a staff of more than 65 full-time employees. It serves over 1,700 case managed consumers and assists over 30,000 older adults through contracts and grant programs. Area Agency on Aging Region 9 offers a variety of programs, such as PASSPORT, assisted living, care coordination, Title III, Alzheimer s, caregiver and HEAPArea. Its services include adult day, assisted living and community transitions services. In addition, the organization offers home medical equipment, independent living assistance, legal counseling, minor home modification, nutrition consultation, personal care, socialization, and medical transportation. Agency on Aging Region 9 works in Association with the Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging, National Association of Area Agencies on Aging and the Older Americans Act. It maintains a location in Byesville, Ohio.
