Our Background Catharine's Quality of Life Homes was started in 1992, by Dick and Penny Page in response to the care needs of Dick's mother who had both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Catharine's quality of life became such an important family issue that Dick built a home for her and took a leave of absence from the """"corporate world"""" to care for her personally. Caring for his mother was such a life-changing experience that he never returned to the corporate world and provided the """"hands-on"""" care for his mother and other persons for nine years.
