Emerson Place, Inc is a private organization offering community based Residential Waiver Services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The goal is to provide essential support regardless of their abilities, enabling them to achieve their full potential through independence, integration and participation in the quality of life of our community by cooperation with other organizations to provide services that better their social and economic well being. Clients must have a diagnosis of mental retardation and meet the level of care criteria plus limitations in adaptive living skills in two or more of the following areas: * Communications * Self-Care * Daily Living Skills * Social Skills * Community Integration * Self Advocacy * Health and Safety * Functional Academics * Functional Academics * Leisure All staff members are trained in: * College of Direct Support * CPR/ First AID * Behavioral Management * Medication Administration * Food Handlers * Funding Sources- Medicade Funds * CSA Funds * Private Pay * Grants EPI provide daily skills training to intellectually challenged individuals to develop independent living skills needed to live at home or to live on their own. We serve individuals between the ages of 18 years and older.
