Ferry County Memorial Hospital

Ferry County Memorial Hospital, located in Republic, Wash., is a 25-bed, full-service facility offering a range of services to the area community. The hospital offers long-term care beds and cardiac and intensive care beds. It also operates emergency, obstetrics, surgery, and general medicine units. The hospital is regularly visited by cardiology, pediatric, podiatry and orthopedic specialists and an inland imaging mammography van comes once a month. The institution is staffed by certified nurses who have had special training in obstetrics, and neonatal and pediatric resuscitation. They nurses offer maternity care and provide intravenous therapy. The hospital has working relationships with almost all referral facilities in Spokane, Wash., to assist those patients requiring hospital specialty care. It also has an on-site, lighted helipad for emergency transports.
