Genesis HealthCare is one of the largest long-term care and rehabilitation therapy providers in the United States. Located in Lowell, Mass., the center offers specialized Alzheimer's care, orthopedic rehabilitation, ventilator care, dialysis care and assisted/senior living services to its patients as well as residents. It operates more than 200 skilled nursing centers and assisted living residences in 13 states, including 33 in Maryland and Virginia. The center supplies contract rehabilitation therapy to more than 1,100 healthcare providers in 28 states and the District of Columbia.
