Gilbert Residence

Gilbert Residence, founded in 1960 and located in Ypsilanti, Mich., provides nursing homes and assisted living services for senior citizens. The organization has also been awarded the Governor's Quality Care Award. It has more than 30 licensed nursing facility Beds, and is Medicaid-certified. Gilbert Residence offers more than 40 licensed assisted living beds, and also provides independent living facilities and several private rooms. It is a nonprofit organization, and is governed by a board of trustees. The organization offers 24-hours, seven-days a week care services, physical and occupational therapies, speech therapy, podiatry and dental services, and therapeutic activities. It also has a team of physicians and registered dietician, and support staff. Gilbert Residence also provides various personal and family services, including open care planning meetings and social activities for residents and families. It also offers Sunday church service, beauty shop, and laundry and housekeeping services.
