Gulfside Regional Hospice Bereavement Center

Gulfside Regional Hospice, based in New Port Richey, Fla., provides services to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. The institution is certified by the State of Florida to provide medical care services at home and in its hospice house. It has a team of physicians, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and a bereavement counselor staff, an interdisciplinary team that supports patients and their families. The medical and nursing staff arrange for all medicines, equipment, personal care, counseling and spiritual programs to patients and families. The organization processes all activities with Medicare and Medicaid and private insurance companies and does all the paper work. Additionally, it provides the patient transport from home to hospital or to the hospice house. Its services are available 24 hours, seven days a week.
