Heart of Hospice

Founded in 2006, Compassionate Hospice of North Georgia provides a range of care and support services to people with life-threatening illnesses. It serves various long-term care facilities, assisted living centers, personal care homes and hospitals. The organization offers spiritual and respite care, medical consultation and dietary counseling services. It provides occupational, physical and nutrition therapy services. Compassionate Hospice of North Georgia participates in the health care plans of various insurance companies, such as Medicare and Medicaid. It also specializes in the areas of oncology and Alzheimer s disease. The organization is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. It employs more than 100 people in over 35 counties. Compassionate Hospice of North Georgia is a part of Compassionate Hospice Management Group, which works in partnerships with various medical institutions, including the Chestnut Ridge Nursing Center, Chestatee Regional Medical Center and Lamberson s Home Care.
