Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd provides compassionate, comfort-oriented care to patients with a life expectancy of less than six months. We serve patients who live in Floyd, Chattooga, Polk, Bartow and Gordon counties. Our professional staff and volunteers support patients and families with medical care, respite care and social services to reduce stress and improve quality of life. Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd serves anyone within its service area who would benefit from hospice. Our medical director is a founding member of Heyman HospiceCare and is one of the longest-serving medical directors of any hospice based in Northwest Georgia. In addition, we have two associate medical directors, one of whom is board certified in hospice and palliative care medicine. A medical director reviews each hospice case on a regular basis. In addition, many of our nurses our certified in hospice and palliative care. Our pharmacy provider also specializes in hospice and palliative care.
