Alzheimer s Association is a non-governmental organization providing support and education for Alzheimer s patients, families and health care professionals. The association aims to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through latest research and provide care and support for the affected and reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The association s services include support groups for all stages of Alzheimer, helpline for information, newsletter, health education and training, family education, residential care and nationwide identification, support and registration program for lost and found individuals with Alzheimer s disease or related disorders. The association is full-compliant with California s Nonprofit Integrity Act of 2004 and serves Northern California and northern Nevada and has many local offices in the area.
