MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center is a 192-bed full service regional medical center with nearly 60,000 emergency room visits and 15,000 admissions each year. MedStar Southern Maryalnd offers a wide range of medical and surgical specialties including a twenty-four hour emergency department and critical care program, outpatient radiology, operating rooms, a sleep disorders center, adult inpatient and day treatment mental health program, an asthma and allergy center, physical and occupational therapy, and an oncology program.
