New Horizons at Marlborough

New Horizons at Marlborough is a private, nonsectarian independent and assisted living community located on a more than 40-acre campus in Marlborough, Mass., that serves more than 500 seniors. It is operated by the Cummings Foundation, a private organization based in Woburn, Mass., that owns and operates nonprofit various independent and assisted living facilities. The community offers various activities, facilities and services, such as transportation, shopping trips, a chapel, on-site protestant and Jewish services, dinner, a beauty salon, indoor swimming pool, and social and entertainment events. It also offers various other facilities and services, including cable television, free local telephones, care plans, Medicare-certified on-site home health agency, assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, escorts, medication reminders and special activity programs. Additionally, the community offers an Alzheimer s disease care program that is operated by Hearthstone Alzheimer Care and offers more than 130 independent living apartments.
