Penn Highlands Community Nurses

Based in St. Marys, Pa., Community Nurse Service is a nonprofit home health care service agency. It was established in 1929 and has been providing healing services and health instruction to the postoperative individuals of the community. It offers professional in-home health care services and custodial care services to the surrounding area residents. The center provides its services to patients and individuals of all ages. It offers a wide range of services, including skilled nursing service, wound, ostomy and continence nursing, maternal and child health care, medical social services and nutrition counseling. The center also specializes in oncology, pediatric, cardiac and psychiatric nursing and physical, occupational and speech therapies. In addition, Community Nurse Service operates various subsidiaries that include Community Nurses Home Health and Hospice and Community Nurses Home Health Support Services.
