Personal Care has been providing personalized home care to adults for more than 25 years in metropolitan Atlanta. The center provides support in private homes, retirement communities and assisted living facilities. It also assists persons who are in nursing homes and hospitals. Its certified nursing assistants assist with grooming and hygiene, monitor vital signs and medication, assist with proper body movement and daily exercise, prepare meals, assist with going to appointments, perform the day-to-day cleaning and laundry and accompanies on walks. The center holds membership in the American Society on Aging, Atlanta Chapter of the National Gerontological Nursing Corporation and the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Personal Care is located in Decatur, Ga. The center is licensed as a private home care provider through the state of Georgia's Office of Regulatory Services, Georgia Department of Human Resources. Its records and practices are annually reviewed by the state.
