Providence Place Retire Community

Waterbridge at Pine Grove is an assisted living facility located just off Interstate 81 in Pine Grove, PA. Waterbridge was started by Pauline Capparell, who has over 35 years of experience in health care. Pauline began her career as a nurse in Hazleton, PA. She went back to work in long-term care after she had raised her two sons. She quickly rose from the overnight nurse to the director of nursing for the facility. Pauline had quickly established a reputation for running a very efficient facility. After complaining to the higher-ups at the company that the facilities were being set up incorrectly, her company asked her to travel the country and fix all of their other facilities. Her bosses tested her theories and asked her to personally oversee the development of all the new facilities within the country. She has since formed her own company and her sons are now working for her. Paulene has opened eleven assisted living facilities throughout the country. Pauline was asked to come to Pine Grove because of the large need for assisted living care. After finding a beautiful spot near the Swartara Creek, her newest facility, and by her own admission, the best facility will be opening in May '06.
