Founded in 1951, Shady Lane is a nonprofit organization providing a wide variety of senior living services. The center offers therapy, dietary, nursing and pharmacy services. It also provides housing, maintenance and laundry services. Shady Lane offers residential care apartments and a community-based facility providing services, such as meals preparation, housekeeping and assistance in daily tasks; and beauty salons and barbershops. Its rehabilitation unit offers several therapies, which include occupational, physical and speech. The center also provides programs on orthopedic injuries, neuromuscular disorders and comprehensive stroke programs. It provides an adult day program, which includes social activities and medication assistance. Shady Lane is located in Manitowoc, Wis.
