Silvercrest Extended Care Facility

In operation since 1990, The Silvercrest Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation provides residential care services for people with complex health care needs. The center offers rehabilitation, geriatrics and hospice services, and operates various therapeutic, nursing and pathological programs. The center s residents include chronically ill and traumatized and ventilator-dependent patients. It also serves people in need of rehabilitation and other short-term orthopedic and cardiac treatments, as well as those who suffer from Alzheimer s disease and other dementias. The center operates one of the largest adult ventilator-dependent units in the United States. The facility includes a wellness center, outpatient medical office, meditation room and dental operatory. The Silvercrest Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
