Springs Inc

Springs Incorporated is a nonprofit agency that was established in 1986 by a group of Sand Springs, Okla., citizens who were concerned by the lack of community living options for adults with developmental disabilities. Springs operates two group homes where consumers benefit from comprehensive care services. However, the group homes are no longer the focal point of the agency. Springs instead concentrates on serving people through community living and in-home support programs, which provide staff, transportation and all other services necessary to consumers who live in privately owned or rental housing. The individuals served by Springs Incorporated generally have a primary diagnosis of mental retardation and exhibit medical and behavioral stability. Springs Incorporated is contracted with and monitored by DHS and works in conjunction with the Developmental Disabilities Services Division of DHS.
