Founded in 1921, VNA Services, a nonprofit subsidiary of Saint Raphael Healthcare System, provides a variety of home care personnel and services. These include nurses, home health aides, homemakers, occupational, speech and physical therapists, medical social workers, wound care specialists, telemonitoring nurses and specialists, registered dietitians and certified diabetes educators. The organization has expertise in cardiac programs, rehabilitation services, total joint replacements, behavioral health programs, skin and wound care, medical nutrition therapy, maternal and child health programs, numerous support services for seniors and a fully staffed adult day care facility. VNA Services maintains its headquarters in Madison, Conn. and serves residents in nearly 35 area communities.
