Jeffersonian Care Center, located in Mount Vernon, Ill., is part of the DSI Healthcare System. DSI Healthcare System was founded in 1989, and specializes in administrative services for geriatric facilities and the developmentally disabled. It also has an office located in Peoria, Ill., and manages more than 235 geriatric beds from three facilities, and owns over 130 geriatric beds at two facilities. DSI Healthcare System partners with Caravilla Residential Centers and DSI Partners. Jeffersonian Care Center is a 65-bed nursing center that offers services, including long-term care facilities that promote and enhance self-dependence of the residents. DSI Healthcare System also has various facilities throughout Illinois, including the Casey Care Center, Lynncrest Manor of Paris, Mount Vernon Care Center and Lynncrest Manor of Auburn.
