W. R. Winslow Memorial Home is a nonprofit, church-owned and operated facility in Elizabeth City, N.C. It is a more than 150-bed skilled nursing facility established in 1960. Its services include various therapies, such as physical, occupational and speech. It also has a consulting pharmacist and dietician. It has licensed and registered nurses on duty 24-hours a day. It offers on-site transportation services and has a backup generator. It offers various activities, such as ceramics, bingo, balloon volleyball, movies trigg bingo and apple hunt. The local churches offers gospel singing groups and sharing singers, and provide weekend church services. It offers activities with high school s Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets.
