Hospice & Palliative Care is a program of the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Massachusetts, which was founded in 1905. Established in 1979, Hospice & Palliative Care provides a variety of pain and symptom management services. The program offers pastoral, hospice and respite care services. It provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative therapies. The program works to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients. The Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Massachusetts offers nursing care and disease management programs to cardiac patients. The association provides physical, speech and occupational therapies. It offers assistance with daily living activities, such as eating, grooming and personal care.
