Hospicecare

Founded in 1979, HospiceCare is a nonprofit organization that serves patients and their families with terminal illnesses. It serves the citizens of Boone, Mason, Monroe, Nicholas, Putnam, Webster and Summers counties in West Virginia. The organization provides pain and symptom management services. HospiceCare also offers personal care and guidance solutions. It provides the grief and loss resource program that includes bereavement support services. The organization offers palliative care consultation solutions. It maintains contracts with several hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The organization operates Hubbard Hospice House, which is a 20-plus-bedroom facility that offers medical and nursing care services. HospiceCare provides spiritual and emotional support solutions.
