Developmental Services

Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas, also known as DSNWK, offers a range of educational programs for individuals with disabilities. Operational for more than 30 years, the organization serves clients in over 15 counties in northwest Kansas. Its programs focus on self-advocacy, sexual abuse prevention, and health and safety issues. Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas conducts various workshops and community education classes. The organization uses the premises of local business establishments, libraries and community service organizations. It offers classes in music, exercise, science, arts and crafts, photography and physical education. The organization s program sites are located in Atwood, Hays, Hill City, Hoxie, Norton, Oakley and Russell communities in Kansas. Located in Hays, Kan., Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas additionally publishes a newsletter.
