How We Use AI

Last updated October 13, 2026.

CareEven uses artificial intelligence (AI) in a few specific ways. We want you to know where, why, and what choices you have.

1. On this website

  • Directory search. Our search may use Directorist AI Search, run by wpWax, to understand what you type and find matching listings. The words you search for and public listing details are processed by that service. Please do not type private health details into the search box.
  • Writing help. Some pages and articles were drafted or edited with help from AI writing tools and then reviewed by our team. They share general information only and are not medical, legal or financial advice.
  • People review care requests. A person on our team reviews every free care finder request and decides which providers to share it with. AI never makes that choice.
  • No automated decisions about you. We do not use AI to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Listing order is based on things like plan, location and how recently a listing was added, not an AI score of a provider's quality.

2. In services we offer to care businesses

Through our Marketing Overhaul, delivered in partnership with Businessmold.com, care businesses can use:

  • An AI receptionist that answers their calls when staff cannot.
  • An AI chat bot on their website.
  • An AI lead follow up assistant that can call or text new inquiries, ask about care needs and help book a consultation.
  • AI assisted content, like social posts and blog drafts, reviewed before publishing.

3. If an AI assistant calls or texts you

  • It tells you it is AI. Our assistants identify themselves as automated assistants, as laws like California's bot disclosure law require.
  • Only with your consent. Federal rules treat AI generated voices as artificial voices, so AI calls and automated texts only happen if you agreed on a form. Agreeing is never required to get care. See call and text consent.
  • Recording notice. AI calls may be recorded and transcribed so the business can follow up. You will be told at the start of the call.
  • Ask for a person or stop anytime. Say "stop calling," reply STOP to a text, or email support@careeven.com.
  • Not advice and not for emergencies. AI can make mistakes. It does not give medical advice. In an emergency, call 911.

4. Your information

Information shared with an AI tool is used to provide the service you asked for and is handled under our privacy policy. We do not sell it. We share it only with the care business you contacted and the companies that run these tools for us.
