Coastal Hospice

Coastal Hospice is a nonprofit, health care organization located in Salisbury, Md. It offers hospice care for terminally ill patients through its professional staff, including volunteers, physicians, counselors, therapists and nurses. The center assists family members in caring for patients in the last phases of incurable diseases. It additionally provides respite care and inpatient services in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties in Maryland. The center offers home health care and provides assistance with daily activities, such as feeding, bathing and grooming. It also offers bereavement care, pastoral counseling, and physical, occupational, speech and music therapies. Coastal Hospice is licensed by the state of Maryland and is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
