Jewish Family Service of Rhode Island

Jewish Family Service is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of professional services to communities in the Greater Rhode Island area. It offers family life education services and individual, couple, family, children and adolescent therapies. The organization also provides nursing and personal care services for senior citizens, as well as mental health assistance for issues related to depression, anxiety, marriage, divorce, parenting, stress, grief and relationships. It offers emergency response services, as well as a nonsectarian adoption program that focuses on home studies, placement coordination and supportive counseling services for adoptive and birth parents. Additionally, Jewish Family Service provides Meals on Wheels program to assist individuals who cannot reach the mealsite, as well as conducts lectures, film series, health checkups and discussion groups.
