Parkston Group Care Program

With a location in Parkston, S.D., Our Home offers residential treatment services people between the ages of 12 and 17 who suffer with behavior substance abuse disorders. Founded in 1972, the agency operates the Adolescent Sexual Adjustment Program, Parkston Residential Treatment Program and Rediscovery Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center. It offers medical care, educational and recreational services. It conducts GED preparation classes and special education training sessions. Our Home employs a multidisciplinary treatment team that provides health status monitoring services and prepares treatment plans. The agency offers group and cognitive behavioral therapies. It features on-site recreational facilities equipped with basketball and volleyball courts, weight rooms and softball fields. Our Home is a member of the South Dakota Association of Residential Youth Care Providers.
