Whatcom Hospice House

Whatcom Hospice, a program of PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, provides life-affirming care for patients and families with advanced illness or disease. Serving patients in their own homes, assisted living, nursing homes or the new Hospice House, Whatcom Hospice helps with the medical, social, emotional and spiritual concerns that often arise during the final months of life. Whatcom Hospice offers outpatient hospice care (comfort-focused care for end-of-life patients and their families, delivered by a specialized team to the home or residence of the patient), inpatient hospice care (24/7 skilled nursing care for end-of-life patients in the Hospice House), and outpatient palliative care (comfort-focused care for patients who are living with serious illness, delivered by a specialized team to the home or residence of the patient).
